Religion and ethics

NSW public schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics, delivered by approved providers wherever available.

Students must enrol in SRE to be present in classes. Students not attending SRE will be provided with alternate supervised activities. For more information, visit Religion and ethics.

Gloucester High School's SRE program takes place once a fortnight. It is timetabled into the curriculum for Year 7 and 8. It is staffed by an endorsed representative from one of the following approved providers:

  • Baptist Union of NSW
  • Catholic Diocese of Maitland - Newcastle
  • Anglican Diocese of Newcastle
